ABOUT ME

Thai Massage Instructor

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Being a massage therapist has opened many doors that were unknown to me. Born in Guantanamo, Cuba, I migrated to the United States with my family in 1971. I spent my childhood in Los Angeles, California, and later Puerto Rico, until at the age of 19 I decided to serve my country by joining the U.S. Marines. During this time, I got to explore many countries and learn different cultures and traditions. After my tour I decided to focus on my education and majored in Accounting at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. After many years in the accounting field something was missing in my life. I always had a strong passion for health and fitness, and career fields related to physical well-being attracted my attention. I decided to leave the accounting field to become a professional massage therapist. I attended the Baltimore School of Massage and obtained my professional license. While I was in school I discovered that as therapists we become instruments to help the body heal with our touch and intention. Over time, I specialized in a few modalities, but it was in Thai Massage where I found my true calling.

I have had the opportunity to study professional Thai Massage with some of the great Master Instructors all over the world. My training began at the Thai Institute of Healing Arts, in Arlington, Virginia, and continued with the internationally renowned Sunshine School of Massage in Costa Rica and Greece. Through my education and experience I have found Thai Massage to be profoundly fascinating, because it allows me to use whole body mechanics to provide a deep, therapeutic, healing massage. I have treated hundreds of people and I can truly testify that everyone can benefit from this modality, and that by practicing Thai Massage you can achieve more with less.

I invite you to join me and learn the ancient ways of Traditional Thai Massage
